Rhino-GH Robotics Programming
KUKA robotic fabrication, driven from Rhino and Grasshopper.
KUKA Robot Operator Level 1 and 2 training at Raccoon Space, NCKU, in September 2023: driving an industrial KUKA arm from Rhino and Grasshopper through the KUKA|prc plugin. Covered robot kinematics, motion planning (PTP, LIN, CIRC), frame transformation and on-controller execution via the smartPAD, practised through robotic brick assembly and milling.
Three days of KUKA Robot Operator Level 1 and 2 training at Raccoon Space, NCKU. The focus was driving an industrial KUKA arm from Rhino and Grasshopper through the KUKA|prc plugin: motion types (PTP, LIN, CIRC), frame transformation, and pushing programs to the controller through the smartPAD.
The two practice tasks were robotic brick assembly and robotic milling. This first hands-on robotic fabrication is an early root of the later humanoid robotic craft research. It was part of my undergraduate portfolio.
